Our children’s programme introduces crochet through practical projects. The existing ten-lesson programme covers the following, with projects progressing at each learner’s pace.
- 01 / FIRST STITCHES
Start with the basics.
Tools, slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet and slip stitch. Early projects include a crochet bracelet or flower headband and a small square project.
- 02 / SHAPES & TEXTURE
Try new stitches.
Magic ring, increasing and decreasing, half double crochet and double crochet. The programme includes small projects such as a hair clip, flower coaster and animal project.
- 03 / MAKING & FINISHING
Bring the pieces together.
Practise joining and sewing through the bunny project, then explore pattern reading with a granny square.
Projects progress at each learner’s pace. The programme describes what is covered; completion of a particular project in one lesson is not guaranteed.

Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. No prior crochet experience is needed. The programme starts with tools and basic stitches.
What are the age range and class size?
The current children’s programme is for ages 9–15, with a maximum of 3 students per class.
Are materials included?
Yes, all class materials are included.
Can a left-handed child join?
Yes. Left-handed learners are welcome too.
When are classes held?
Classes are by appointment. WhatsApp us with your preferred date to confirm availability before visiting.
